PortaNum is a software vision aid specially designed to facilitate reading of distant documents (board, video-projection screen ...).

Your computer is connected to a good quality video-camera, or a camcorder which films what you are not able to read, and the software enlarges it and applies image processings in order to render it in a suitable way for your vision (negative, false colours, contrast, light, sharpness enhancement ...).
